Edmonton Academy’s small class sizes allow the teachers to meet the individualized needs of each of their students, as well as program appropriately to ensure that the students begin to experience success and become the learner of whom they are capable.
Parents and students are integral participants in the process of developing the Individualized Program Plan (IPP). The Academy provides students with a positive environment that builds on their successes and strengths and supports their areas of need.
Various learning strategies are explored and implemented to support each child’s abilities, all within the Alberta approved curriculum. SMART boards are used to create interactive lessons.
Students write the Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs) at grades 6.

Edmonton Academy provides a safe and supportive environment for all its students.
Graduates of the high school program often reflect on all the extra effort the teachers contributed towards their success. Graduates and former students visit the Academy on a regular basis and have been employed by the Academy after receiving their education degree.
